About the Role:
The Human Capital & Legal Talent Intern (Alternance) H/F is an integral part of Latham's Human Capital and Legal Talent / Associate Recruiting teams. This role offers a unique and comprehensive overview of all HR aspects of a global law firm: the Human Capital team manages all matters relating to staff (business services professionals), while the Legal Talent / Associate Recruiting team handles the recruitment, development, and career progression of lawyers and trainee lawyers (stagiaires) throughout their professional life at the firm. This role will be located in our Paris office, and will begin in September 2026. The position requires a minimum of three days per week in-office.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Supporting the Human Capital team with various HR projects and initiatives relating to business services professionals, including research on best practices, reports, and coordination of meetings and presentations
- Assisting the Legal Talent team with the coordination and execution of development efforts and events for lawyers, including internal presentations, trainings, and lawyer outings
- Supporting the Associate Recruiting team with all phases of entry-level hiring, managing applicant materials, correspondence, and coordinating interview schedules and recruiting events
- Organising lawyer events, providing comprehensive support including registration, speaker coordination, course materials, and logistics

Generating specialised reports and materials in support of both HR and recruiting projects
- Handling administrative tasks such as documenting meetings, managing expenses, and maintaining team resources
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
- Exhibit organisational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines

Have a proactive attitude and a strong interest in human resources within a law firm environment
And have:
- Current enrollment as a student in a Master 1 or Master 2 program, preferably in human resources, employment law, or a related field

Availability for an alternance contract (minimum 3 days per week in-office) starting September 2026
