Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the DataConnect squad, which is responsible for implementing AI-augmented data products that accelerate the delivery of data projects. The role focuses primarily on data ingestion to facilitate access to legacy data for a range of consumers, including Cognite Data Fusion, RC and EP Surface Data Hub, Power BI dashboards, and other digital products.
Objectives and Deliverables
- Understand, analyze, and propose technical solutions that meet the needs of key data stakeholders, including business specialists, domain managers, architects, and data scientists.
- Automate the creation and deployment of robust data pipelines using Databricks, ADF, Cognite Data Fusion, and related tools.
- Support data collection, storage, exposure, and product development activities within Data Connect.
- Monitor and improve data quality for consumers through preparation, completeness checks, purification, and enrichment.
- Contribute to workshops to enhance product vision and improve monitoring, observability, and data exposure tools.
- Improve internal processes related to data localization, traceability, standardization of processing flows, scripts, and documentation.
