We are looking for a Global Operations and Procurement legal counsel! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.
Your key missions:
On a day-to-day basis, you will work with the other Global Operations & Procurement Legal Counsels, the Global Operations & Procurement Senior Legal Managers, local and central Legal Directors, Operations stakeholders and Tech teams.
You may be involved in the following areas:

Direct and Indirect Procurement & Supply Chain: Providing legal support on direct procurement, indirect procurement and logistics for brand units, manufacturing entities, HQ, and central procurement teams. This includes regulatory and contractual problem-solving, support with supplier disputes, and responding to operational queries. as well as awareness of upstream supply chain sustainability requirements (e.g. sustainability certifications).

Developments & S&R: Providing legal support and guidance to the Group’s fast-moving R&D function (product development, breakthrough innovation) and S&R function (carbon emissions, circular economy initiatives, packaging compliance, and regulatory adherence).

Contracts: Drafting, reviewing, advising on, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts in collaboration with procurement specialists and various stakeholders across the global business (from traditional procurement and supply chain agreements to technology ones).

RFx Activity: Support procurement processes by preparing RFx materials, managing negotiations, evaluating responses, advising procurement teams, and overseeing award processes, while driving the optimisation of e‑procurement and digital tools (CLM, e-signature, etc.).
In coordination with the wider Global Legal team, you and the Global Operations & Procurement Legal team will also be responsible for:

Regulatory Landscape: Monitor global regulatory trends, assess impacts across procurement, supply chain, innovation, S&R and Tech, and track emerging regulations (e.g., CS3D, EUDR, PPWR) and related sustainability and technology-related developments.

Special Projects: Contributing to the development, management, and delivery of special projects, such as content creation for online platforms, digital self-service legal tools, and legal transformation initiatives. This includes proactively identifying opportunities to harmonise processes, optimise ways of working, break down silos, and leverage emerging technologies including AI.

Stakeholder Advisory & Operations: Advise Legal Directors and key stakeholders on legal risks and strategy; communicate and train across the business and external partners; maintain accurate records and reporting; and continuously improve procurement legal templates and tools.

You have 2–5 years of experience in commercial legal roles, gained in a law firm and/or in-house, ideally with exposure to procurement, supply chain, technology, or other commercial contracts. Strong practical legal and contractual expertise is essential. Some exposure to international matters and complex or cross-functional projects is preferred.
You should also demonstrate:

Practical experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts;

Ability to establish strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers across multiple jurisdictions;

Solid commercial awareness, analytical capability and problem-solving skills;

A proactive and self-driven approach to legal transformation: a natural inclination to spot inefficiencies, challenge the status quo, and find smarter ways of working, including through the use of CLM systems, e-procurement platforms, AI tools, and other digital solutions;

Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, with guidance from senior colleagues when needed;

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (French and/or Spanish is a plus);

Aptitude for agile learning, including in technical, operational, commercial, and fiscal matters; and
-
Exposure to, or a strong interest in, technology-related legal matters, including IT procurement, SaaS/PaaS/licence agreements, data-related issues, and digital infrastructure contracts; prior experience in this area is a plus but not a requirement.
