INOCEL is a French company in the industrial energy transition, specialized in the design and commercialization of modular, free‑emission hydrogen generators. Our solutions deliver continuous and reliable power to critical industries - from data centers to construction sites and remote locations - without compromising performance.
Backed by more than 25 years of research on hydrogen fuel cells, we offer modular generators for both stationary and mobile applications: GEN‑Z 300, GEN‑Z 600, and GEN‑Z 1300. Beyond equipment, INOCEL provides turnkey solutions, including integration, maintenance, and advanced monitoring to ensure reliability, performance, and durability.
With industrial production in Belfort and R&D centers in Grenoble and Cannes, INOCEL combines innovation, technological expertise, and positive environmental impact. Our scalable and silent solutions enable partners worldwide to transition toward a zero‑carbon future, reinforcing our international vision and our role as a global leader in hydrogen energy.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer to develop advanced thermal and energy systems operating in demanding high-temperature environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing components and assemblies exposed to elevated temperatures (500-800°C), thermal gradients, pressure, and cyclic operating conditions. The role requires expertise in high-temperature materials, hot gas handling equipment, thermal management systems, and insulated structures.
While experience in SOFC (Solid Oxyde Fuel Cell) systems is highly desirable, candidates from industries such as power generation, gas turbines, combustion systems, internal combustion engines, industrial furnaces, hydrogen technologies, aerospace, and process equipment are encouraged to apply.
Design and integrate : Manifolds, flanges, bellows, and piping systems, Heat exchangers and recuperators, Burners, reformers, and hot gas handling equipment, Blowers and thermal management systems, Insulated enclosures and hot boxes.
Select materials suitable for operation between 500°C and 800°C, including stainless steels, nickel alloys (e.g., Inconel), insulation, refractory, and sealing materials.
Perform engineering calculations related to thermal expansion, structural integrity, pressure containment, and welded assemblies.
Collaborate with systems, thermal, manufacturing, procurement, and testing teams.
What we expect
Proven experience with components such as manifolds, flanges, bellows, heat exchangers, burners, pressure-containing parts, and insulated enclosures.
