The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager who is comfortable creating market momentum, developing strategic commercial relationships, and contributing directly to long-term European expansion initiatives.
This is not a traditional account management role.
The position is intended for professionals who are capable of identifying commercial potential, opening high-level customer conversations, developing territory-level traction, and converting market opportunities into measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion
- Identify, target, and develop new B2B commercial opportunities across key European industrial markets
Relationship Development
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and industrial buyers
Commercial Development
- Lead commercial discussions and manage opportunity development processes from initial engagement through commercial development and closing stages
Strategic Coordination
- Coordinate closely with executive management during negotiation and commercial development stages
Market Intelligence
- Provide actionable market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to support regional commercial strategy
Preferred Industry Background
Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly valued:
- Industrial chemicals
- Specialty raw materials
- Polymers, plastics additives, pigments, and coatings materials
- Industrial distribution
- Technical-commercial B2B environments
Professionals with established industry relationships and commercially relevant European networks will be strongly valued.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Proven track record in international B2B sales or business development, preferably within industrial or chemical sectors
Mindset
- Entrepreneurial, commercially proactive, and results-oriented approach with the ability to operate independently and create commercial progress
Capabilities
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities
Languages
- English proficiency required
- French language capability is considered a strong strategic advantage
