To address today’s challenges as well as tomorrow’s new opportunities, we are looking for a Product Regulatory Specialist (M/F) on a permanent contract.
The position reports to the Global Head of the Product Safety Department and will be based at our Lisses site (France).
The Role:
Oversees all product regulatory affairs through leading and deploying the global regulatory strategy for chemical substances and mixtures, ensuring worldwide compliance with applicable regulations while supporting business strategy, innovation, and time-to-market objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Regulatory Strategy and Governance

Define and implement the global regulatory strategy for chemical products.

Anticipate regulatory changes and assess their business impact (risk and opportunity analysis).

Develop and deploy harmonized global regulatory policies, procedures, and standards.

Act as the key regulatory reference and advisor for senior management and governance bodies.
Global Regulatory Compliance
-
Ensure compliance of substances and formulations with major chemical regulations, including:

REACH / CLP (Europe)
-
TSCA (United States)
-
UK REACH
-
China MEE Order No.12
-
K-REACH (Korea)
-
Chemical Substances Control Law (Japan)
-
Other local regulations (Latin America, India, Middle East, etc.).

Oversee substance registrations, notifications, technical dossiers, and related updates.
-
Ensure global compliance of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labeling.
Business and Industrial Support
-
Support new product development, innovation, and reformulation projects.
-
Advise commercial teams on claims, restrictions of use, and market access requirements.

Contribute to Make-or-Buy decisions, raw material strategies, and supply chain security.

Manage regulatory impacts related to supplier changes or manufacturing site transfers.

Ensure EHS Master data compliance and creation in our ERP systems (classification and labeling, DG classification, packaging, notification status, compiling and releasing MSDS, Poison Center Notification, 24 h emergency hotline, SERC content update).
Global Coordination

Coordinate regional regulatory leads and external partners (consultants, Only Representatives, laboratories).

Build regulatory capabilities across the organization through internal training and knowledge sharing.
External Representation and Regulatory Intelligence

Represent the company with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and working groups.

Implement a structured global regulatory intelligence process and ensure effective internal communication.

Participating in public consultations and, where appropriate, contribute to influencing regulatory developments.
Job Requirements:

Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Toxicology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent. Formal training or certification in Regulatory Affairs is a plus.

Working Experience: >3 years’ experience in chemical regulatory affairs in an international environment.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

Strong expertise in international chemical regulations.

Solid understanding of toxicology, risk assessment, and sustainability-related challenges.

Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational and strategic business decisions.
