Stereolabs is the global pioneer in 3D vision solutions, transforming robotics and Industry 4.0. Through our innovations in computer vision, AI and hardware, we enable machines to understand their environment and become autonomous — to assist humans across a growing range of tasks.
Based in Paris and San Francisco, we design the ZED, the world's smartest camera family for depth perception, tracking and spatial understanding. Our solutions power mobile robots, humanoids, agricultural and industrial fleets, and some of the most advanced robotics programs in the world. Now united with Ouster, the LiDAR leader, we combine CMOS vision and LiDAR to form the undisputed leader in high-performance perception. And this is only the beginning — a new generation of cameras, software, and AI is on the way.
Internally, we fully embrace agentic AI: it's a default tool in every engineer's toolbox, not an experiment. We expect the people who join us to share that mindset.
As a Customer Success Engineer, you are the go-to technical contact for our customers once their ZED cameras are in hand. Your role: get them up and running quickly, keep them unblocked, and make sure the issues coming back from the field get an answer — yours, or engineering's when escalation is needed. You are the link between real-world deployments — multi-camera fleets, embedded Jetsons, outdoor scenes, mobile robotics — and our SDK, drivers and hardware teams.
-
Diagnose and quickly resolve customer issues: ZED SDK integration, depth, positional tracking, SVO recording, streaming, calibration, performance on Jetson.
-
Investigate hardware, software, and network problems across a range of platforms (Linux/Ubuntu, NVIDIA® Jetson, ROS 2), methodically and independently.
-
Reproduce, isolate, document: reproduce customer cases, trace them back to root cause, and document them cleanly — including when the answer doesn't exist yet and you have to dig for it.
-
Bridge with engineering (SDK, Embedded & Drivers, Hardware): escalate and prioritize field issues, with the context needed to make them actionable.
-
Advise on configuration and optimization of customer environments: acquisition pipeline, ROS 2 / DDS tuning, multi-camera, embedded thermals.
-
Build the knowledge base: troubleshooting guides, compatibility matrices and reusable support articles.
ZED SDK, Linux (Ubuntu), NVIDIA® Jetson (Orin), ROS 2 / DDS, GMSL2 / MIPI CSI-2, Python, C++, Git and diagnostic tools.
-
A stimulating environment with daily technical challenges, on real machines, in real conditions.
-
Talented, passionate colleagues — engineers who genuinely love solving hard problems.
-
The pride of contributing to next-generation AI products, deployed at the most advanced robotics companies in the world.
-
Visible, immediate impact on the company roadmap and on the products our customers depend on.
-
The opportunity to grow technically and professionally, in a fast-paced environment where seniority means ownership.
-
Proven experience in technical support or application engineering, ideally with technical customers (robotics, vision, embedded).
-
Strong command of Linux environments (Ubuntu preferred): command line, diagnostics, reading logs.
-
Autonomy and resourcefulness: a demonstrated ability to find solutions with minimal input and to see an investigation through to the end.
-
Excellent communication skills: able to explain a technical concept to varied audiences, in writing and in person.
-
Patience and people skills: some problems take several iterations, sometimes with customers under pressure.
-
Proactivity and a sense of ownership: an open issue stays tracked until it's closed out.
-
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-
Fluent English required (international customers).
-
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted tools (Claude Code, Cursor or equivalents).
-
Bonus: ROS 2 and the robotics ecosystem, NVIDIA® Jetson, computer vision / stereo, or experience maintaining an SDK / customer-facing API, plus an understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP).
