We are looking for highly action-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at crafting compelling proposals, and have a strong bias for execution. While traditional bid management experience is valuable, we are particularly interested in candidates with strategic sales, consulting, or public sector backgrounds who are excited to transition into a high-impact commercial role.
You will own the entire bid lifecycle, from opportunity identification and qualification to proposal development, submission, and contract negotiation, working closely with our technical, legal, product, and executive teams to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Success in this role means combining strategic insight, deep public sector fluency, technical acumen, and disciplined execution to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Ensure timely submission of bids, managing resources, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment.
Translate Mistral AI’s capabilities into clear, actionable value propositions for government and enterprise clients.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and R&D teams to tailor solutions (e.g., sovereign hosting, data residency, joint-training programs) to meet client needs.
Support Proof of Concept (POC) phases for public sector clients, ensuring smooth evaluation and transition to production contracts.
Demonstrate ROI and strategic impact of Mistral AI’s solutions, aligning with national priorities, policy objectives, and compliance frameworks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, government officials, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.
Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders throughout the bid process.
Represent Mistral AI at government forums, industry conferences, and high-stakes meetings to promote our vision and capabilities.
Guide executive stakeholders through complex technology adoption decisions, positioning Mistral AI as a trusted partner.
Develop and execute strategic bid plans to convert opportunities into long-term contracts.
Lead negotiations and collaborate with legal, finance, and technical teams to finalize agreements.
Ensure compliance with procurement rules, tendering processes, and funding frameworks (e.g., EU, national, or public-private partnerships).
Monitor public sector trends, procurement opportunities, and competitive landscapes to prioritize high-potential bids.
Analyze competitor strategies (e.g., OpenAI, Google, AWS) and differentiate Mistral AI’s value proposition.
Provide insights and recommendations to shape Mistral AI’s go-to-market strategy for the public sector.
Partner with local ecosystems (universities, start-ups, experts) to co-create solutions and drive successful AI adoption.
Foster cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure seamless bid execution.
Proven track record of leading complex, high-value bids (€1M+) in enterprise or public sector environments.
Experience in RFP response management, including writing, editing, and coordinating multi-stakeholder proposals.
