About the Role
The Business Development Manager supports the Chief Commercial Officer in driving the commercial development of O&M activities across regions. Acting as a deputy on selected perimeters, the role covers the full spectrum of business development activities, including opportunity qualification, pipeline management, reporting, governance processes (Go/No Go, Bid/No Bid), bid support, and client engagement.
By delegation from the CCO, the role may cover one or several regions or activities and is accountable for ensuring commercial discipline, robust reporting, and high-quality business development support aligned with O&M strategy
Scope:
Depending on the profile, the role may cover one or several O&M regions or activities by delegation from the CCO, with full responsibility over commercial development topics within that scope.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development Coverage
- Contribute to building a robust pipeline aligned with the business plan
- Coordinate with regional teams and ensure proper project positioning
- Support diversification and development of new opportunities
2. Reporting & Analytics
- Ensure accurate and timely commercial reporting
- Monitor pipeline, KPIs, and business intake
- Manage CRM data quality and usage
- Develop dashboards and performance analysis
3. Go/No Go and Governance
- Coordinate Go/No Go and Bid/No Bid processes
- Prepare decision materials and ensure proper governance
- Document decisions and follow up on actions
4. Qualification & Documentation
- Support early-stage opportunity qualification
- Improve quality of commercial and approval documents
- Ensure consistency and clarity in presentations and bid materials
5. Tender & Bid Support
- Coordinate bid review meetings and governance milestones
- Support preparation for internal approvals (RCC, boards)
- Ensure bid consistency across technical, financial, and risk aspects
6. Client & Partnership Engagement
- Represent O&M in selected client interactions
- Support key account and partnership initiatives
- Ensure coordination across regions
7. Commercial Excellence
- Promote best practices and process consistency
- Support continuous improvement of tools and governance
What do we need from you
Experience:
- Graduate of a Master's level program from a top business or engineering school
- At least 3 years of experience in a position of business development, bid management, or commercial roles
- International environment experience preferred
Skills:
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
