Job Description
Context
The missions are part of a critical infrastructure evolution framework, including storage, backup, and virtualization. The consultant will work within multidisciplinary technical teams, interacting with operations and security teams, external service providers, and various internal stakeholders.
1. Mission Objectives
The Senior Technical Architect will be responsible for:
Defining and implementing a medium-term IT architecture vision for their area of responsibility (storage/backup or virtualization/storage).
Ensuring the technical and functional consistency of solutions, as well as quality of service.
Contributing to operational continuity, security, and system monitoring.
Leading or contributing to infrastructure evolution projects, from design to production deployment.
Participating in the drafting and analysis of technical documents (architecture documents, specifications, evaluation grids, etc.).
2. Profile and Skills Required
Experience Required
Solid experience in infrastructure architecture for critical environments: storage, backup, data center, virtualization.
Expected Technical Skills
Storage architectures (SAN, backup solutions, disaster recovery/business continuity, service continuity).
Virtualization architectures and cross-functional technical foundations.
Security, monitoring, and operations (RUN).
Management of SAN storage solution upgrades.
Strategic vision for storage and backup infrastructures.
Collaboration with production teams and service providers.
Key Skills
Ability to define and implement a medium-term architectural vision.
Excellent technical writing skills (architecture documents, memos, specifications).
Infrastructure project management (planning, risk assessment, coordination).
Rigorous, analytical, and reporting skills.
3. Organization and Terms
Reporting to: Infrastructure Architecture/Engineering Team.
Supervision: Technical leads for the relevant scope.
Terms: Full-time position, on-site presence required (3 to 5 days depending on the operational context).
Expected duration: 3 years.
Location: Technical site in the Paris region.
