The Position
In collaboration with the Sales Engineer, the Architect contributes to the project's success by analyzing and qualifying the client's challenges and needs, and by designing an overall solution for which they are the guarantor. They are responsible for the feasibility of the implementation (engineering, deployment, operation). They ensure risk and cost control related to the proposed solution, while coordinating the internal and external expertise necessary for the design. They ensure the handover of the solution to the production teams.
The Senior Architect champions the LAN / DC Networking technical offering within their team: their experience provides the necessary competence to support their teammates in upskilling and continuously improving our performance in serving our clients.
As the key point of contact for General Management and IT Departments, your main missions will be as follows:
- Take responsibility for the engineering (developing the hardware and service solution, planning, appropriate methodology, technical memory services, participation in defenses/presentations…)
- Control the risks and costs related to the proposed solution.
- Coordinate the internal and external expertise necessary for the design.
- Listen to the market and ensure technological watch.
- Ensure the transmission and/or handover of the solution to the production teams.
- Champion the LAN / DC Networking / Cyber technical offering.
- The complex sales approach is integrated into the thinking model.
You will also participate in the deployment of complex solutions to feed the continuous improvement plan.
The Architect manages CIR (Research Tax Credit) files from development through the experimentation phase.
The Candidate
- With an engineering degree or equivalent, oriented towards network/IT techniques, you have significant experience as an Architect in complex environments.
- You also demonstrate good interpersonal skills, an analytical mind, and genuine writing abilities.
- Technical or service certifications related to the areas covered (manufacturers, publishers, ITIL, etc.) will be appreciated.
- You are autonomous, dynamic, and enjoy teamwork.
Technical Skills
- Cybersecurity: CISCO, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Stormshield, Wallix, Systancia
- IP Network Infrastructures: DC networking / LAN Campus / WLAN / (WAN) / Fabric IP
- Very good practical and theoretical knowledge of protocols:
- Layer 3: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, …
- Layer 2: Trunking, LACP, STP, …
- Manufacturers: Cisco (high level) / HPE-Aruba / Juniper / Extreme Networks
- Certifications in the targeted field would be a plus.
