AI is reshaping how operating teams work, but most of that value stays locked behind two walls: people don't know what's possible, and AI experts at the center try to solve problems from too far away. You'll join the People function as a senior individual contributor, reporting directly to Nicholas, Chief People Officer, with high visibility across the executive team. This role exists to break through both walls from the inside, building the agents, automations, and internal apps that let Vibe operate at a different tempo. You'll build where the leverage is real, automating the workflows that run recruiting, onboarding, performance, and HR operations. You'll be both builder and multiplier, shipping tools yourself and teaching others to build their own. And you'll shape how Vibe works with AI, defining what's responsible, sanctioned, and safe across the company.
Build AI agents, automations, and internal tools
Ship production agents and automations for People workflows like recruiting, onboarding, and mobility
Observe real processes to find where automation creates immediate leverage
Deploy with n8n, Claude Code, Notion AI, and the broader stack
Measure, test, and improve every tool you put into production
Lead AI enablement across the company
Organize Vibe's internal AI Champions program end to end
Identify 1–2 power users to leverage per team and equip them with a playbook
Organize the community through office hours, brown bags, and hands-on sessions
Teach recruiters, office managers, and HR teammates to build their first agent in one sitting
Partner with Engineering on the infrastructure layer
Build the data access, MCP servers, and governance that make safe building possible
Translate People and Operations needs into clear technical requirements
Ensure systems stay secure, scalable, and maintainable
Define responsible People AI usage
Set clear standards for data classification, approved tools, and internal workflows
Clarify what data can be used where, and what stays in approved environments
Build guardrails with Legal, Infra, and Engineering that protect trust and privacy
Own adoption and impact
Measure adoption, time saved, agents in production, and team productivity gains
Identify the highest-leverage opportunities across People and adjacent teams
Build and run a pragmatic roadmap with the CPO, improving on real usage
5+ years of experience, including 2+ years shipping internal tools, agents, or automations for non-technical users in production
Hands-on builder with Python or TypeScript, APIs, prompt engineering, and agent evaluation
Deep familiarity with at least two modern AI and automation tools such as Dust, n8n, Make, Claude, OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, MCP, Retool, or Airtable scripts
Track record working closely with non-technical stakeholders across People, Operations, Finance, Sales, or Product
Strong process judgment: able to observe a team, spot high-leverage automation, and design better systems
Fluent English-speaking operator who can train teams without creating dependency
Shipped a side project, open-source contribution, agent, or internal tool outside of work
Served as the go-to AI person in a 200+ person scale-up
Led internal trainings or wrote documentation that changed how a team worked
Background in RevOps, People Ops, BizOps, Product Ops, forward-deployed engineering, or founder/operator work

Location: Paris - the pay range for this role is €88,000–€120,000.

Recruiter screen: 30 min.
Manager interview: 45 min. Meet Nicholas, the CPO you'd report to directly.
Live build exercise: 90 min. We'll give you a real Vibe People-team problem, access to our stack, and watch you prototype. This is the round that matters.
Cross-functional panel: 3x30 min. One each of: Ops leader, Revenue leader, Senior engineer.
Calibration interview: 30 min. A senior leader joins to ensure we're holding a consistent, high bar.
Offer: Fast. We don't let good decisions sit.
