ABOUT THE POSITION
The role offers the natural evolution for you as a Quant Developer and apply your quantitative and statistical expertise to high-impact financial challenges. You will work on portfolio construction, advanced statistical analysis, and large-scale data management, with immediate impact: your analytical work drives real-time investment decisions.
Note: This role focuses on portfolio construction and quantitative analysis rather than machine learning. However, your ML and data science background will be highly valuable in applying rigorous analytical thinking to quantitative challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work on meaningful technical challenges:
- Integrate and validate new analytical models within production systems
- Perform detailed statistical diagnostics to improve model quality and robustness
- Build applications for distributing calculations at scale
- Collaborate directly with quantitative researchers to improve methodologies used in the decision chain
Make decisions that matter:
- Your work impacts portfolio construction and systematic investment strategies
- Contribute to systems directly impacting production environments
- Develop new features on the production decision chain in collaboration with research teams
- Investigate sim/prod divergences and diagnose portfolio behaviors
- Propose improvements to portfolio optimization, trading cost models, risk control, and roll management
Grow with modern tooling:
- Work with cutting-edge technologies and AWS
- Build in Linux environments with high code quality standards
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
Education & Experience
- Master's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 4-5+ years of experience in quantitative development, data science, or demanding technical environments
Technical Skills
- Advanced Python, Pandas, NumPy
- Strong foundations in mathematics and statistics
- Ability to critically analyze and interpret data and results
- Comfortable with distributed systems and large-scale data manipulation
- Proficient in Linux and production environments
Qualities
- Collaborative spirit and ability to work efficiently
- Rigor, code quality, and testing culture
- Curiosity for new technologies
- Excellent command of English
