The Opportunity
We are looking for an International Telecom Field Technician to join our growing operations team.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in the field, traveling regularly, and solving technical challenges in real-world environments. You will participate in telecom deployment, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and operational support activities on customer sites across France and internationally.
Rather than being office-based, this position places you at the heart of telecom operations, working directly with customers, equipment vendors, and project teams.
Field Operations
- Perform installation, replacement, and maintenance of telecom equipment.
- Support deployment activities on customer and network sites.
- Participate in commissioning and operational readiness procedures.
- Ensure compliance with customer standards and technical procedures.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose equipment and connectivity issues.
- Assist with corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Perform technical checks and validation tests.
- Escalate complex issues to engineering and support teams when necessary.
Project Execution
- Support project managers during deployment and migration activities.
- Coordinate site activities with customers and subcontractors.
- Follow project schedules and operational requirements.
- Ensure accurate completion of field intervention tasks.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare clear intervention reports after each assignment.
- Record findings, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
- Provide regular feedback to project and operations teams.
Customer Interaction
- Represent Azurreo professionally on customer sites.
- Communicate effectively with local stakeholders and technical teams.
- Support customer satisfaction through quality service delivery.
Education
- Technical diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in telecom operations, field services, technical support, network deployment, maintenance, or similar technical environments.
- Recent graduates with relevant internships or field experience are encouraged to apply.
Technical Knowledge
- Basic understanding of telecom or network infrastructures.
- Familiarity with hardware installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments is an advantage.
- Experience working with telecom equipment, datacenters, or network infrastructure is a plus.
