Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in large private homes or luxury estates.
- Extremely detail-oriented with a perfectionist approach to cleanliness and organization.
- Extensive knowledge of caring for luxury materials and finishes including marble, silk, fine linens,cashmere, delicate fabrics, antiques, and specialty surfaces.
- Expert-level laundry and garment care skills including ironing, steaming, stain treatment, folding, andwardrobe organization.
- Strong experience with children’s clothing, seasonal wardrobe rotation, and closet maintenance.
- Naturally organized with the ability to maintain structured systems throughout the home.
- Must understand the difference between surface cleaning and true deep cleaning; the family is highlyobservant and values meticulous standards.
- Able to work quietly, efficiently, and respectfully within a fully staffed household environment.
- Professional, polished, discreet, and trustworthy with a strong understanding of privacy andconfidentiality.
- Warm, polite, and welcoming demeanor when interacting with family members and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Daily reset and maintenance of all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, and children’s spaces to immaculate standards.
- Perform detailed housekeeping including deep cleaning, sanitizing, polishing, dusting, vacuuming, and organization throughout the home.
- Ensure all spaces are not only visually clean, but thoroughly and hygienically maintained at all times.
- Manage all household laundry including linens, towels, delicates, formalwear, and children’s clothing withhotel-level presentation standards.
- Handle ironing, steaming, folding, wardrobe organization, closet maintenance, and seasonal clothingrotation.
- Maintain organization of drawers, closets, pantries, storage areas, and household systems.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and cleaning product inventory proactively.
- Execute weekly deep-cleaning schedules and seasonal organizational projects.
- Assist with packing and unpacking for family travel.
- Support hospitality needs by helping prepare the home before guests arrive.
- Open the door and warmly welcome guests when needed, offer coats assistance, guide guests to the appropriate spaces or powder room, and ensure the home always feels polished and inviting.
- Coordinate seamlessly with other household staff to maintain smooth daily operations and high household standards.
