Activity Manager (M/F)
Château Aventure (part of Manor Adventure) is recruiting an Activity Manager to oversee residential language trips for British school groups in France.
Location: Northern France (Somme Bay / Amiens area)
Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and coordinate school groups on arrival
- Act as the main point of contact for teachers
- Handle day-to-day operations, issues, and emergencies
- Supervise evening activities
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of 12–20 activity leaders
- Create staff schedules and manage working hours
- Oversee daily operations (meals, first aid room, shop, etc.)
Profile
- Fluent in English and French
- Full driving licence required
- Experience in activity leadership, school trips, tourism, or hospitality
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident, proactive, and people-oriented
✔ First aid qualification is a plus
