Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Methods Technician (m/f) to join our Manufacturing Engineering department in Toulouse.
You will join the multi-programme organization within an integrated team that has a global vision of design, industrialization, and shopfloor execution support. We are looking for a versatile engineer, expert in manufacturing processes and industrial sequencing, to support the digital transformation (3D, digital continuity), drive Co-Design / Co-Industrialization initiatives, and thrive in a technological, multicultural, and transnational environment.

Your challenges:
- Collaborate upstream with the Engineering Department (Bureau d'Études) and Industrial Architecture to integrate production constraints, optimize costs, and standardize best practices right from the design phase.
- Structure and update manufacturing routings, the production bill of materials (As-Prepared BoM), and work instructions (2D/3D SOI), while defining technical sequences and the required headcount (number of operators).
- Define and issue requests for Jigs & Tools, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs, and necessary measurement systems, while validating technical documentation and drawings.
- Lead risk analyses (PFMEA / AMDEC), manage non-conformities (design, production, suppliers), and initiate the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure process robustness.
Calculate and optimize manufacturing times (via MTM, REFA methodologies), conduct regular feedback loops on the shopfloor (Gemba), and resolve complex manufacturing engineering issues escalated by technical support.

Your boarding pass:
- Background in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Production / Manufacturing Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing/methods engineering role, ideally within the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in building routings/BoMs, risk analysis tools (PFMEA/AMDEC), industrial time calculation (MTM/REFA), and CAD/PLM tools (MFT, digital mockup).
- Strong collaborative spirit for working in multidisciplinary and international teams, excellent communication skills, a pragmatic hands-on approach (Gemba culture), and the ability to drive change.
Professional fluency in English and French (mandatory for the international work environment and daily shopfloor support in Toulouse).
