About the role :
VITEC, a leading provider of professional video solutions, is seeking a future Industrialisation Engineer to join its Operations teams.
Reporting to the Industrialisation Manager and based at our main site in Châtillon (92), you will play a key role in the product lifecycle.
You will be responsible for managing the configuration and overseeing the industrialisation of the group’s products, working closely with the technical and operational teams.
You may also be required to contribute on an ad hoc basis to cross-functional projects in support of the company’s various departments.
Your responsibilities : The following list, which is indicative and not exhaustive, outlines the main responsibilities of the role :
- Creating product codes for all finished goods in the company’s ERP system. Establishing and maintaining their bill of materials across all group sites. Ensuring consistency in the designations used, in consultation with product managers.
- Managing the procedure governing the creation of product codes in the ERP system and the coding of their designations, as well as the component and product lifecycle management process.
- Managing changes of all kinds in collaboration with development and operational teams, formalising requests (ECNs) and overseeing the entire process: training the relevant team, assessing scope, validation, implementation decision and, where applicable, roll-out.
- In collaboration with the upstream supply chain team, monitoring the various stages of production roll-out with industrial partners. Helping to coordinate the prototype, pre-production and mass production phases. (Ensuring the development of user-friendly interfaces for the various test and configuration benches, the drafting of method documentation by the assembler, guaranteeing industrial optimisation and taking partner feedback into account).
- Ensuring the consistency (proofreading and validation) of industrial partners’ working documents with the support of business subject matter experts.
- Validation of internally developed test and traceability tools for production.
About you :
You have 2 to 7 years’ experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the electronics or technical products sector, with a good command of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor) and configuration management processes. Ideally, you have already worked on projects involving industrialisation, configuration management or technical data management (PLM/ERP).
Meticulous and organised, you demonstrate good interpersonal skills, a collaborative spirit and the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable with IT tools and industrial environments, you are proficient in Microsoft Office.
Fluency in technical English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role.
