In the French Alps, Langley operates seasonal ski hotels in some of the most popular resorts. Our concept combines active days on the mountain with relaxed, social evenings in the hotels, where personal service and a warm atmosphere are central. Winter is a fast-paced season with many arrivals and departures, international guests and teams of seasonaires which means our operations rely on clear routines, good communication and strong teamwork between our departments to deliver smooth and memorable guest experience.
We are now recruiting for a housekeeping supervisor for our hotels in Tignes 2100 and Val Thorens-
The role
You are an experienced and driven housekeeping leader who takes pride in high standards, structure and a positive team spirit. In this key role, you are responsible for cleanliness, comfort and presentation throughout the hotel, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and well-kept environment. The role is hands-on and includes both supervising and working alongside the team.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations (rooms, public areas, back of house, laundry)
- Lead, train and motivate an international team of housekeepers (approx. 6+ in Tignes; similar team size in Val Thorens)
- Conduct regular inspections to secure and improve quality and cleanliness standards
- Plan staff schedules and allocate resources efficiently in a high-tempo, seasonal environment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene guidelines and procedures
- Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies within budget
- Work closely with hotel management and reception to support guest satisfaction and quick problem solving
- Perform hands-on cleaning when needed, especially on busy days or changeover days
Requirements
- Relevant experience as Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor in a hotel of approx. 50–100 rooms
- Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to guest service standards
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume, seasonal operation
- Flexible and willing to work weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude, energetic and solution-oriented – leading by example
