About the Role
We’re looking for a People Operations Lead / HR Business Partner to join GetVocal AI and help build scalable people operations across France and Europe.
This is a hands-on role covering HR operations, employment compliance, onboarding, performance processes, workforce planning, and manager support. You’ll work closely with the CEO and department heads to create practical people processes that support a fast-growing SaaS startup.
This is a full-time role based in Paris, with regular in-office collaboration.
What you’ll do

Manage day-to-day people operations across France and Europe.
- Support employment compliance, HR documentation, and local people processes.
- Coordinate with EOR providers, payroll partners, and external advisors where required.
- Create and maintain employee policies, including our first employee handbook.
- Build a structured onboarding process for new joiners.
- Support managers with performance, feedback, employee relations, and retention topics.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and contractor planning.
- Support compensation and benefits benchmarking to help maintain fair and competitive practices.
Requirements
What we’re looking for
Must Have: Experience in HR, People Operations, or HR Business Partnering within a SaaS startup or scale-up environment. Strong knowledge of French employment practices and hands-on experience building people processes in a lean team.
Nice to Have: Exposure to European employment practices, EOR management, payroll coordination, employee handbook creation, performance frameworks, workforce planning, or compensation benchmarking.
