About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our Global Network Team based in Le-Trait, France. In this role, you will support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across global locations, with a primary focus on the EMEA region.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting complex enterprise networks, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering reliable and secure network services in a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain global network infrastructure and services.
- Ensure reliable delivery of network services to internal stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Participate in network design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage network changes, upgrades, and regional infrastructure projects.
- Perform network device firmware upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and technical procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues.
- Manage and support Riverbed WAN optimization appliances where applicable.
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve complex networking challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments.
- Strong experience with:
- Cisco Routing and Switching
- LAN/WAN Technologies
- Cisco IOS and Nexus Platforms
- VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and VTP
- Routing Protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Wireless LAN Infrastructure and Cisco Wireless Controllers
- Experience troubleshooting complex network incidents and service disruptions.
- Exposure to network monitoring and management tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles or structured IT service management frameworks.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco CCNA or higher certification.

- SD-WAN technologies (VMware VeloCloud preferred)
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Cisco ISE
- SolarWinds Orion
- ThousandEyes

- F5 Load Balancers
- VOIP and Unified Communications networking

- Experience supporting remote, offshore, or geographically distributed sites.
- Familiarity with high-latency and low-bandwidth environments such as VSAT networks.
- Experience working within energy, industrial, or multinational enterprise environments.
