Manhattan Active WMS Application Consultant

Overview
Our client, a leading organisation undergoing significant supply chain transformation, is seeking a
Manhattan Active WMS Application Consultant to join their growing team. This is a key role focused on configuring and optimising warehouse management solutions to support complex operational requirements across multiple sites.
The Role
As a Manhattan Active Application Consultant, you will play a critical role in translating business and operational needs into effective WMS configurations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across operations, IT, and project teams to deliver scalable, efficient warehouse solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customise Manhattan Active WMS in line with business and operational requirements
- Analyse warehouse processes and translate them into functional system flows
- Support end-to-end WMS implementations, enhancements, and rollouts
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimise inbound, outbound, and inventory processes
- Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions
- Provide functional expertise during testing phases (SIT/UAT) and go-live support
- Troubleshoot system issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Manhattan Active WMS configuration
- Solid understanding of warehouse management functional flows (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control)
- Proven ability to translate operational needs into system solutions
- Experience working in complex, multi-site or international environments
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English (additional European languages are a plus)
Nice to Have
- Experience with WMS integrations (ERP, automation systems, etc.)
- Exposure to supply chain transformation or digitalisation programmes
- Background in logistics, distribution, or retail environments
