Data – IT Business Solutions Manager
1. Summary
Requires an interim IT Business Solutions Manager (Data & Analytics) to ensure continuity of critical data‑related activities during a temporary resource gap. The role is essential to maintain ongoing delivery, safeguard compliance with operational processes, and support several high‑priority market initiatives.
2. Business Need & Context
The local Market is currently undergoing significant transformation across its data landscape, including:
- Increasing volume of new data demands and change requests.
- Active initiatives requiring immediate support (e.g., SKU‑level data enhancements, segmentation changes, new product launches, and associated reporting requirements).
- Critical blockers affecting access to necessary market data for informed decisions.
- Dependence on timely and structured requirements definition to avoid delays in regional delivery.
Given these dependencies, the absence of a Local Data Business Solutions Manager presents a risk to market operations, delivery timelines, and data governance.
3. Scope of the Interim Role
Primary Responsibilities
The interim BSM will:
- Translate business needs into data‑solution designs rather than coordination only.
- Define and validate requirements for data changes, ensuring alignment with the WE Regional D&A pillar.
- Support demand intake, prioritization, and impact assessments.
- Provide local leadership for data‑related initiatives
- Ensure business continuity on topics previously handled by the departing/absent resource.
Required Skillset
- Strong data‑strategy and solution‑shaping capability.
- Ability to design and articulate data flows, not just generate reports.
- Proven experience in managing change requests, assessing technical implications, and liaising between business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience in Local Data Platform / Data Model
Profiles focused primarily on coordination or reporting (without hands‑on analytical or solution‑design capability) do not meet the requirements for this role.
4. Resourcing
Location & Working Model
- Resource must be Paris office is located 35 rue des Abondances 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt – France atleast two days per week.
Duration
- 6 months intiatlly and may extend for another 6M
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 450.00€ - 550.00€ per day
