Main tasks
In the pre-project phase, he may be involved in a search for solutions and a feasibility study to consolidate the technical offer drawn up by the Business Engineer.
Once the order has been received, the automation engineer works on the project, from the design phase through to commissioning. They analyze and check the project specifications, then :
contributes to the drafting of risk analyses
participates in the determination of the material
code the PLC program
provides HMI or SCADA supervision
draws up the operator's manual
provides technical advice to suppliers
start-up the installation in the workshop and/or on the customer's site
In after-sales, they diagnose installation malfunctions remotely or on customer sites, and propose remedial solutions.
Ancillary tasks
Follow-up/realisation of electrical/pneumatic diagrams
Production of bills of materials
Job profile
Required training:
BTS in automation, ideally followed by a bachelor's degree in industrial IT.
Required skills:
Programming: Schneider Unity, Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7 Safety
Database management and SQL queries
Supervision: Blue Open Studio
Language: technical English
