WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in Central Europe with a preference for candidates based in France or Germany.
Reporting to the Head of Product Line FSB, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving FSB sales growth across defined countries in line with business strategy. This includes opportunity management, building strong customer relationships, collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders and gathering market insights to support business development.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SALES MANAGER
- Drive FSB sales growth within the assigned markets.
- Proactively pursue and support sales activities with both existing and prospective customers, including local brand owners.
- Take ownership of local profitability and working capital management.
- Consistently track and report key KPIs related to sales, profitability, and working capital.
- Develop and implement segment sales plans tailored to each specific market or country.
- Execute local marketing initiatives.
- Play an active role in the annual sales budgeting and planning process.
- Ensure customer data, pricing, and rebate agreements are always up to date in the order entry and invoicing system (Fenix), in close collaboration with CSCs.
- Actively participate in customer meetings, providing expertise and support during negotiations and discussions on commercial agreements.
- Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system, including timely uploading of customer visit reports.
- Secure customer contracts and ensure all necessary approvals from sales management.
- Contribute to tactical and strategic activities related to Product Line FSB as needed.
AUTHORITIES
- Identify, develop, and pursue sales opportunities with both new and existing customers within the FSB
- Creates demand for new products and service offerings in conjunction with business builders.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in food service packaging, paperboard or barriers is an advantage
- Strong sales mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Solid commercial understanding, including pricing, profitability, and working capital
- Ability to manage multiple markets and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally in an international setting
- Strong French and English communication skills, both written and verbal, German skills considered a positive asset
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Proven sales experience, ideally within packaging, paperboard, or food service applications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong digital capabilities, including CRM and ERP systems in a multinational environment
