We are seeking an Area Sales Manager based in France for on of our BU belonging to the Primary Materials segment . You will develop and manage a diversified customer portfolio (SMEs to multinational key accounts) across several countries and industrial markets. You will lead commercial negotiations, drive profitable growth, manage contracts, and support new business development. This role includes functional coordination of international sales assistants and close collaboration with R&D and New Business Development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow customer relationships; lead price and volume negotiations
Drive new business development and opportunity pipeline management
Prepare account plans, budgets, sales forecasts, and CRM reporting (SFDC)
Monitor payments, DSO, contract renewals, and portfolio profitability
Analyze markets and competition; support R&D-driven innovation
Deliver customer presentations and internal commercial reports
Actively participate in One Arkema customer meetings, including cross-BU engagements, as required.
Regions: France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Maghreb
Markets: Pulp & Paper, Chemicals, Batteries, Electronics, Aseptic, Cosmetics
Products: Hazardous materials (specialties & commodities) – rail/road/sea deliveries
Locations: Collaboration with plants in France and Germany.
