You will join the IT department of Oddo BHF, within the team that is supporting Group Artificial intelligence and Analytics initiatives launched at Group Level. You will report directly to the Head of IT for Corporate functions & Data.
Group IT is acting as a business partner to the Business lines, focusing on delivering Group Strategic priorities while ensuring stability of service and compliance to regulations under a cost-effective approach.

Context
As part of Group IT, you will contribute to defining the Group strategy for Open-Source and Sovereign Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI platforms.
The objective is to help the organization design a secure, scalable, and sovereign AI stack, aligned with enterprise constraints (regulatory, infrastructure, skills, and operating model).
You will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams, and your work will directly support top-management decision-making.
Your Missions
1. Market & Ecosystem Analysis
- Conduct a structured study of the open-source LLM and agentic AI ecosystem (small to large language models).
- Benchmark peer practices (enterprises, regulated industries, sovereign cloud initiatives).
- Identify key trends, maturity levels, and adoption patterns.
2. Target Infrastructure Definition
- Define infrastructure requirements for hosting open-source LLMs on-premise or in sovereign environments.
- Analyze compute, storage, GPU/accelerator needs, scalability, and security constraints.
- Assess compatibility with enterprise platforms such as OpenShift / Kubernetes.
3. Target Architecture & Technical Stack
- Propose a target architecture based on microservices and platform thinking.
4. Provide recommendations for:
- Agentic orchestration frameworks
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- Observability and LLMOps components
- Model lifecycle and deployment patterns.
5. Use Cases & Proof of Concept
- Identify relevant internal use cases aligned with business and IT priorities.
- Design and contribute to a Proof of Concept using open-source language models.
- Validate technical assumptions, feasibility, and constraints.
6. Operating Model & Skills
- Propose a target operating model for sovereign and open-source AI.
- Identify required skills, roles, and team organization (build vs. run).
- Highlight gaps versus current IT capabilities.
7. Management Reporting
- Produce clear, structured deliverables (slides, notes, recommendations).
- Present progress and strategic options to senior management.
Skills & profile
- Master's-level student (Computer Science, AI, Data, Cloud, or Software Engineering)
- Understanding of Large Language Models (open-source vs proprietary)
- Basic knowledge of prompt engineering and model limitations
- Familiarity with concepts such as RAG and agent-based systems
- Infrastructure & Platform
- Understanding of Linux environments, Containers and Kubernetes concepts
- Familiarity with Cloud vs on-prem infrastructure trade-off
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
