At Ermitage International School Bordeaux, and due to the growth of our school, we are looking to recruit a primary teacher, for a part-time position (working only Tuesdays and Fridays) in our international school to support our team. IB trained or willing to being trained.
Small size classes (no more than 15 students)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that are engaging, relevant, and challenging to students of all abilities.
- Develop and maintain effective classroom management strategies that promote a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to support student learning and progress.
- Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's IB curriculum.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related events as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
