About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Murex Front Office Commodities Specialist to support and enhance commodities trading activities within the Murex MX.3 platform. The role focuses on Front Office configuration, trading workflow optimization, and close collaboration with traders and stakeholders. You will play a key role in improving trading efficiency, risk management, and system performance across implementation, upgrade, and production environments.
Your role:
- Support Front Office commodities trading activities using the Murex MX.3 platform
- Act as a Front Office subject matter expert for commodities products and trading workflows
- Gather and analyze business requirements from traders and translate them into Murex configurations
- Configure and enhance commodities trading functionalities, including pricing, booking, and trade lifecycle events
- Set up and maintain market data, curves, volatility surfaces, and pricing models
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide senior-level production support, including incident analysis and resolution
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Finance, and IT teams to ensure end-to-end system consistency
- Contribute to Murex upgrades, enhancements, and new implementation initiatives
- Ensure alignment with Front Office processes, controls, and regulatory requirements

Your profile:
5+ years of hands-on experience working with Murex MX.3, with strong Front Office exposure
Strong expertise in Commodities trading (energy, metals, or soft commodities)
Solid understanding of the trading lifecycle, pricing, risk management, and P
Proven experience configuring commodities products and Front Office modules in Murex
Good knowledge of market data configuration, curves, and pricing models
Basic SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Murex architecture, data flows, and Front-to-Back processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with traders and senior stakeholders
Fluent in English; French is a strong plus
Experience with Murex Datamart, reporting, scripting, or exposure to other asset classes (FX, Fixed Income) is an advantage
