Hello, we’re L’Oréal. We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.
A Day in the Life Reporting to the IT Europe CRM Domain Lead within the O+O department in Paris, you will orchestrate our fragmented technical landscape (6 platforms including Adobe, MongoDB, GCP, SFMC, SFSC) and lead our major offshore delivery transformation to India by 2027.
- Delivery & Offshore Transition: Drive the end-to-end delivery of high-quality code and lead the strategic transition of squads to offshore models (experience managing and transitioning delivery to offshore teams).
- Team & Vendor Leadership: Pilot a team of 20+ professionals (internal and external vendors) and manage a substantial budget. Proven ability to lead complex, multi-platform IT delivery
- Technical Governance: Challenge and align architects, lead techs, devops, and cybersecurity experts on API design, integrations, and infrastructure
- CRM & Data Lifecycle Expertise: Strong experience in CRM ecosystems, including data acquisition logic, PII storage and privacy standards, and campaign activation.
We Are Looking For We are looking for a highly experienced tech leader with a strong background in data and code delivery. You should possess:
- Hands-On Technical Depth: Proven ability to read, write, and review code in at least one backend language (Python, Java, or equivalent). You are expected to actively participate in code reviews, challenge architectural decisions with working prototypes when needed, and hold engineering teams accountable on quality at the implementation level, not just the delivery level.
- Integration & Data Architecture Literacy: Solid understanding of API integration patterns (REST, event-driven, CDC) and data lifecycle concepts, from raw ingestion to profile unification and campaign activation. Experience with multi-platform data flows is a strong plus.
- Scaled Agile & Engineering Practices: Experience running Agile at scale across multiple squads (SAFe or equivalent), with direct exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) and the ability to define and enforce quality gates across delivery teams.
- Delivery Tooling: Hands-on proficiency with Agile tool and Confluence for roadmap tracking, dependency management, and squad rituals. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (Terraform or equivalent) is a plus.
- Regulatory & Privacy Awareness: Operational knowledge of GDPR constraints as they apply to CRM data — consent management, data residency, PII handling, and the ability to translate compliance requirements into technical delivery constraints.
- Cloud & Activation Platform Expertise: Solid knowledge of GCP (and/or Azure) and familiarity with at least one major activation platform (Adobe or Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Collaborative Influence: Strong communication skills in English to challenge diverse technical stakeholders (architects, devops, cybersecurity).
