Within the French Commercial Subsidiary, you play a strategic role in developing the Livestock Divisions (Swine, Poultry, Ruminants). You are responsible for performance, growth and structuring of the national Key Account approach, managing relationships with multispecies strategic customers and coordinating actions with internal teams.
Driven by strong business curiosity and genuine commercial creativity, you explore new approaches, challenge existing models and propose innovative solutions to enhance value creation with key accounts. Your ability to think differently and bring fresh perspectives is essential to support the transformation of the livestock sector.
You build and deploy national account plans, negotiate highstakes agreements and mobilise internal teams (marketing, technical, sales, supply, finance) to ensure flawless execution. You also manage a Ruminant Key Account Manager and contribute actively to evolving collaboration models and commercial practices.
Main Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership & Strategic Account Management
- Identify decisionmaking and influence networks within key accounts and build strong, longlasting relationships.
- Develop tailored action plans to maximise revenue, range penetration and profitability.
- Lead major negotiations and drive cooperation and value cocreation strategies.
- Analyse client performance, financial health and business dynamics to anticipate growth opportunities.
Structuring & Strengthening the Key Account Approach
- Develop comprehensive and differentiated offers (products & services).
- Communicate and document commercial strategies across internal teams.
- Conduct competitive and market intelligence to support decisionmaking.
- Cobuild commercial and marketing strategies with Business Units.
- Introduce innovative interaction models adapted to multispecies key accounts.
Management & Internal Coordination
- Manage and support a Ruminant Key Account Manager.
- Engage Marketing, Technical, Sales, Support and Supply teams around key customer initiatives.
- Ensure clear and effective internal and external communication.
Your profile :
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+3 / Bac+5) from a university, engineering school or business school in sales, distribution or business development.
Experience
- At least 5 years of successful experience in Key Account Management, structured negotiation or commercial management.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic negotiation, closing and financial steering of key accounts.
- Strong knowledge of the veterinary / livestock / animal health market preferred, with openness to backgrounds from Petfood, - - - Human Health, Retail/FMCG.
- Experience with P&L analysis appreciated.
- Experience working in complex, multistakeholder and multispecies environments is an advantage.
