Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, excluding French holidays

Only candidates currently residing in Boulogne-Billancourt, Paris, or the nearby surrounding area should apply. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the place of performance Monday through Friday.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Cook to provide daily meal preparation services for approximately 14 individuals at the MSG Residence in Boulogne-Billancourt. The Cook will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner five days per week, develop menus, support ingredient planning, follow food safety requirements, and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare three daily meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Prepare breakfast during the required order period, generally between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Prepare lunch and dinner in individual portions using Government-provided containers.

Ensure lunch meals are ready by 11:00 AM.

Develop a 20-day menu cycle for approval.

Prepare balanced meals using fresh and healthy ingredients.

Include local, regional, American, and international dishes when appropriate.

Consider dietary restrictions, religious restrictions, food intolerance, and other special dietary needs when directed.

Provide ingredient lists to the designated Government representative two weeks in advance.

Assist with ingredient restocking coordination when required.

Label meals with preparation and expiration dates.

Clean the kitchen, dishes, equipment, and appliances after meal preparation.

Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and food handling standards.

Follow French and European food safety and public health regulations.

Work professionally in a secure U.S. Government residential environment.

Wear proper cooking uniform, hair protection, and appropriate kitchen footwear.
Minimum Qualifications:

CAP Cuisine qualification, Culinary Diploma, or equivalent professional culinary certification.

Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience in a commercial kitchen, institutional kitchen, military facility, hotel, restaurant, or similar environment.

Experience preparing balanced menus and daily meals.

Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and kitchen cleaning standards.

Ability to prepare meals consistently, on time, and in sufficient portions.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good written and spoken English.

Must be legally authorized to live and work in France.

Must currently reside near Boulogne-Billancourt, Paris, or the surrounding area.

Must be able to pass all required background and security screening before beginning work.
