The P&C Operations team plays a key role in supporting SCOR’s Property & Casualty business by driving operational efficiency, data quality, and analytics capabilities across underwriting and support functions.
As a Data Analyst Alternance within the P&C Operations team, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of data-driven solutions that support operational processes and decision-making.
- Support the development and maintenance of operational dashboards, KPIs, and
management reporting (e.g., exception report, operational monitoring dashboards).
- Analyze business and operational data using SQL in Databricks.
- Develop impactful visualizations using Power BI.
- Support data quality checks, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Contribute to SCOR's growing AI and digital transformation initiatives by designing and optimizing prompts, improving AI-generated responses, testing agent capabilities, and helping business teams leverage Generative AI technologies to enhance productivity, knowledge discovery, reporting, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- This apprenticeship offers exposure to data engineering, analytics, and visualization within a global reinsurance environment, providing hands-on experience with modern tools and methodologies.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports.
- Design visualizations and KPIs to support management reporting and operational monitoring.
- Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions.
- Participate in dashboard testing, validation, and user support activities.
Data Analysis & Data Management
- Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL in Databricks.
- Investigate data quality issues and propose corrective actions.
AI & Prompt Engineering Responsibilities
- Support the design, testing, and continuous improvement of AI-powered assistants and
Copilot agents for business users.
- Create, refine, and optimize prompts to improve the quality, accuracy, and relevance of AI-
generated outputs.
- Participate in user testing and validation of AI agent responses to ensure alignment with
business expectations.
- Analyze user feedback and identify opportunities to enhance agent performance and user
experience.
Process Automation
- Contribute to automation initiatives using tools such as Power Automate and AI Prompts in
copilot.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and process optimization.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve reporting capabilities and operational
processes.
- Participate in documentation, knowledge-sharing, and process standardization activities.
