Aperçu du rôle :
Au sein de l’activité Solar and Storage Solutions de GE Vernova, ce poste contribue au déploiement de solutions innovantes de stockage d’énergie par batteries (BESS) et de centrales hybrides. L’objectif est de concevoir et proposer des solutions techniques optimisées, adaptées aux besoins des clients, tout en garantissant la faisabilité, la compétitivité et la conformité des offres.
Ce rôle agit comme un véritable référent technique pour les projets solaires, de stockage et hybrides, en interface avec les équipes commerciales, d’ingénierie, de développement produit et les clients.
Responsabilités clés :
Assurer le leadership technique des offres Solar et Storage.
Piloter la finalisation des propositions techniques, incluant le chiffrage, le planning et l’évaluation des risques techniques, dans les délais de remise d’offre.
Analyser les spécifications et standards clients, notamment en matière de conformité réseau, cybersécurité et exigences techniques.
Identifier et formaliser clairement les écarts, clarifications ou exceptions par rapport aux plateformes standard GE Vernova.
Coordonner avec les équipes de développement produit pour évaluer la faisabilité des demandes spécifiques, ainsi que leurs impacts en coût et en délai.
Traduire les besoins clients en solutions techniques pertinentes et adaptées à leur cas d’usage.
Élaborer les propositions techniques : architecture de référence, matrice de risques, liste des fonctionnalités et accessoires, estimation des travaux d’ingénierie projet.
Superviser la création et la mise à jour de la documentation technico-commerciale liée aux produits, en lien avec les parties prenantes concernées.
Soutenir les équipes commerciales lors des présentations techniques auprès des clients, avec une approche orientée service et valeur ajoutée.
Compléter les questionnaires techniques clients et répondre à leurs demandes d’information.
Communiquer de façon proactive l’avancement, les points de blocage et les risques aux membres de l’équipe offre.
Présenter les solutions proposées à l’équipe de direction en mettant en avant les performances attendues et les risques associés.
Après attribution du projet, assurer un transfert clair et structuré vers les équipes en charge de l’exécution.
Contribuer à l’évolution des gammes de produits en synthétisant les besoins émergents du marché et des clients, ainsi que les informations concurrentielles.
Accompagner et faire monter en compétence les membres de l’équipe sur les solutions Solar et Storage.
Identifier, piloter et structurer des actions d’amélioration continue des processus.
Compétences requises :
Diplôme de niveau licence ou équivalent en informatique, génie électrique ou domaine connexe, délivré par un établissement reconnu.
Diplôme d’ingénieur, master ou qualification équivalente en informatique, génie électrique ou domaine connexe, délivré par un établissement reconnu.
Minimum 5 ans d’expérience dans une fonction technique.
Bonne connaissance des systèmes BESS et des exigences liées aux codes Grid code réseau.
Capacité à analyser des besoins techniques complexes et à construire des solutions adaptées.
Solides compétences en communication orale et écrite.
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome tout en collaborant efficacement au sein d’équipes internationales.
Aptitude à gérer plusieurs interfaces et à évoluer dans un environnement dynamique.
Compétences confirmées en analyse de problèmes et en résolution.
Compétences préférées :
Expérience confirmée des systèmes de batteries et d’onduleurs dans le secteur de l’énergie.
Diplôme d’ingénierie de niveau supérieur.
Expérience de travail transverse avec des équipes telles que l’ingénierie, les achats, la fabrication, la logistique ou le management produit.
Capacité à synthétiser et présenter des informations techniques complexes de manière claire.
Aisance dans les échanges avec des interlocuteurs de haut niveau.

Job Description
Solar and Storage Solutions provides innovative energy storage systems with BESS & hybrid solutions for various applications. It is a fast-paced business that includes design, engineering, services, and commercial organizations focused on deploying battery energy storage projects.
The Customer Application Engineering is a critical position for Solar and Storage Solutions as we work internally with deal teams and externally with customers to provide optimized technical solutions to meet customer’s needs and requirements. This role serves as solutions architect for products required for solar, battery energy storage and hybrid power plants.
Roles and Responsibilities
Technical lead for Solar and Storage proposals.
Accountable to deliver the technical proposal completion, costing, schedule and technical risk assessment within the agreed bid due date.
Good knowledge on BESS and Grid code
Review customer specification and standards (grid compliance, cybersecurity, etc) versus GE Vernova standard platform and clearly document clarifications and/or exceptions to customer specification.
Align with product development team on feasibility of exceptions, including associated cost and cycle time to ensure alignment with execution priorities and backlog.
Translate customer needs into a solution.
Develop GE Vernova technical proposal to best suit the customer's use case and requirements for proposals, reference architecture, risk assessment matrix, features and accessories list, and customer project engineering work estimates.
Lead the creation and maintenance of the technical commercial documentation related to the product in coordination with the different stakeholders.
Support Sales with delivering technical presentations to customers with a good commercial attitude.
Complete customer technical fill-in data and answer customer questions.
Report status and problems to deal team members in a timely fashion.
Present technical proposal to GE Vernova leadership team detailing system performance capability and risks.
After winning project, support a clean hand over of technical solution to the project execution team.
Participate in the development of multi-generation product plans by summarizing and prioritizing emerging customer / market requirements and gathering competitive intelligence.
Mentor team members in technical understanding of Solar and Storage products.
Lead and define process improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role
