BookieStats is looking for a highly analytical and football-focused Sports Trader / Bettor Analyst to join our team.
The role is designed for someone who understands football statistics, betting markets, odds, probabilities, and value betting. You will use football data and market information to identify opportunities, assess betting probabilities, monitor bookmaker prices, and contribute to data-driven betting analysis.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced sports bettor, football analyst, trader, statistician, or quantitative-minded football enthusiast who wants to work professionally with football betting data.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse football matches, leagues, teams, players, and historical performance data.
Monitor football betting markets and bookmaker odds across European competitions.
Identify potential value bets by comparing statistical probabilities with available market prices.
Analyse markets including Match Result, Double Chance, Over/Under, Both Teams to Score, Asian Handicap, Draw No Bet, corners, cards, and other relevant football markets.
Track opening and closing odds and identify significant market movements.
Research team form, home/away performance, goalscoring trends, injuries, suspensions, line-ups, and other relevant factors.
Build, test, and improve football betting strategies and analytical models.
Monitor pre-match and potentially live football markets.
Record selections, odds, results, expected value, yield, ROI, and other performance metrics.
Conduct regular post-match analysis to determine what worked and where strategies can be improved.
Maintain accurate and organised betting and trading records.
Follow defined bankroll, staking, and risk-management procedures.
Stay up to date with European football leagues, competitions, teams, and market developments.
Communicate betting insights and market observations clearly to the wider team.
What We're Looking For

Strong knowledge of football and football betting.
Demonstrable experience betting, trading, or analysing football markets.
Excellent understanding of odds, probability, implied probability, and expected value.
Strong statistical and analytical thinking.
Ability to distinguish genuine value from short-term variance or market noise.

A disciplined and unemotional approach to betting decisions.
Ability to analyse large amounts of information and reach clear conclusions.
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills or experience with comparable analytical tools.

Candidates must currently reside in Europe and be legally eligible to work from their country of residence.
