About the role
The HR & Admin Manager will serve as the pivotal force within our operations department, ensuring operational excellence, legal compliance, and strategic development in a complex defense environment.
This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual capable of managing internal office and people functions, as well as external partnerships, providing strategic insight to align operational initiatives with our company's ambitious goals.This is a key, cross-functional role, working closely with leadership and all teams.
1. Administration & finance
Manage administrative and statutory obligations (URSSAF, taxes, legal declarations)
Coordinate with external accountants and oversee accounting follow-up
Manage payroll processes
2. People & office management
Coordinate recruitment processes once hires are approved
Coordinate employee onboarding
Contribute to the definition and improvement of internal HR processes
Purchase and manage work and technical equipments
3. Communication & marketing
Manage and update the company communications channels
Coordinate marketing initiatives
Coordinate trade shows and events
4. Defense compliance
Support office physical security measures
Support export control processes in coordination with leadership and compliance experts
Support security clearance and defense authorization processes
Proven experience in HR & admin roles
Comfortable working in a startup / scale-up environment
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
Able to handle sensitive and confidential topics
Autonomous, proactive, and strong communicator
Fluent in English and French
