What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our development team in Bergerac, France.
In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and support software solutions used by airports and airlines globally. Working within an Agile environment, you will collaborate with developers, product specialists, implementation teams, and customers to deliver high-performance, mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.

Contribute to the development of airport and airline operational systems, including passenger processing solutions.

Develop and support APIs, integrations, and communication interfaces between multiple systems.

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software defects and performance issues.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Support software deployments, upgrades, and customer implementations.

Assist with technical investigations and issue resolution in production environments.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, Engineering degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3-10 years of professional software development experience.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles and application development.

Experience developing desktop, web, or distributed applications.

Knowledge of REST APIs and system integration concepts.

Familiarity with network communications and protocols, including TCP/IP and WebSockets.

Experience working with XML and structured data formats.

Understanding of software testing and debugging methodologies.

Experience using Git and modern development practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with C# and .NET development.

Experience with Node.js backend development.

Experience with Angular or modern front-end frameworks.

Experience working with event-driven or real-time systems.

Knowledge of hardware integration, peripheral devices, or printing systems.

Familiarity with serial communication protocols and device connectivity.

Experience working with cloud-based or distributed applications.

Aviation, airport, transportation, travel, or other operational technology experience.

Knowledge of airport systems such as CUPPS, DCS, FIDS, AODB, BRS, or RMS.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Travel Requirements
This position is based on-site in Bergerac, France.
Occasional international travel may be required (typically 1–3 weeks at a time) to support customer deployments, software upgrades, implementations, testing activities, and user training at airports worldwide.
