DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in cloud-native application deployment and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GitOps practices, version control management, Kubernetes-based platforms, deployment automation, and CI/CD methodologies. This role requires collaboration with infrastructure and development teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient application delivery while promoting DevOps principles and modern engineering practices across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for deployment orchestration, configuration management, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement of DevOps workflows.
Description of the tasks:
- Manage and deploy cloud-native applications using DevOps best practices.
- Promote the adoption of DevOps methodologies and GitOps principles across teams.
- Administer and maintain version control repositories and workflows using Git and GitHub.
- Create, maintain, and enhance Helm Charts, including rollback capabilities to ensure deployment reliability.
- Orchestrate application deployments using ArgoCD and GitOps-driven processes.
- Manage Kubernetes resources and workloads within OpenShift environments.
- Execute Unix/Linux commands for deployments, operational support, and troubleshooting activities.
- Integrate and leverage Artifactory within CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate operational and deployment processes using Ansible Automation Platform.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation related to deployments, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Supervise and maintain GitOps workflows and configuration management processes.
- Review, validate, and correct configurations delivered by external contractors when required.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities and support incident resolution to maintain platform stability.
