Life Scientific France is the French subsidiary of Life Scientific Ltd, a company based in Ireland. Life Scientific specialises in the development, registration and distribution of off-patent crop protection products. Our growth in 2026 was driven by the growth of our product portfolio and our increasing market share in Europe. Our goal in France is to build a lasting commitment alongside French cooperatives and farmers by offering a dynamic, clear product range at competitive prices.
You will take part in implementing development projects for Life Scientific France. In this role, you will support the sales team, create marketing materials, and coordinate all technical projects. You will build strong relationships with distributors' technical departments as well as with national technical institutes, in order to support and promote the LS product range, and to define and implement trial protocols in close collaboration with service providers. You will be the key point of contact for all technical questions from our distributors.
Your role:
Technical development:
- Coordinate internal and external trial networks in France
- Create technical content for product labels and marketing materials
- Work closely with the marketing team to support new product development, providing the technical input required for market launch
- Act as the key contact for all technical questions (e.g. product dosage, efficacy against pathogens/weeds, compatibility, etc.)
- Maintain relationships with institutional contacts (Arvalis, Terres Inovia, ITB, etc.)
- Manage complaints/disputes.
- Act as national technical referent for target crops
Sales promotion:
- Promote the Life Scientific range to customers
- Take part in demo platforms and other agricultural trade shows
- Take part in key account campaign launches
- Monitor technical and competition trends.
Insight Development:
- Capture local market insights (e.g., farmer perspectives, competitor activities, etc.) and provide them to Commercial organization to help inform various strategic decisions
- Understand what drives our customers to make buying decisions and use this insight to inform customer engagement, material development, etc.
- Provide recommendations on which products Life Scientific should develop, how to position these products, etc. based on insights developed from customer and broader network engagement
As an agronomy engineer, you already have experience in crop protection and product trials (minimum 3 years).
Your skills and abilities:
- Strong customer focus
- Very good knowledge of agronomy and field trial evaluation
- Strong team spirit
- Fluent English
Location: Reims / Orléans / greater eastern Paris region. Home-based position.
Frequent travel within France to be expected (clients in the East/Centre/North zones and head office in Lyon).
