You are joining our team, which is looking for two Experts in Sustainable Finance for 6-month internships, to be filled in January 2027 and July 2027.
The Expert in Sustainable Finance intern will support the senior team members in carrying out the various missions of the CoEI (Center for Expertise and Innovation), particularly those focused on content and methodologies. (development of criteria through literature reviews, methodological research, writing studies, surveys or consultations with investors, structuring/pitching of financing instruments). It will develop and/or support thematic expertise in order to feed the Green & Sustainable Hub (GSH) product and service offer, as well as its visibility and outreach. He will also be involved in monitoring and analyzing ESG regulations and/or policies.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
- La creation of documents for clients (thematic research, analysis of market trends, regulatory monitoring, notably through the publication of reports accessible to the public, integrating for example case studies carried out with clients) ;
- La creation of innovations to support the GSH’s origination activities :
- Development of methodologies defining projects, activities or companies eligible for green/sustainable financing (definition of eligibility criteria);
- Creation of reporting and impact assessment tools;
- Creation of new products or mechanisms (e.g. financing instruments indexed to climate performance, instruments linked to key performance indicators - KPIs);
- Participation in sales pitches by suggesting possible innovations and assisting the team during structuring phases when Natixis is appointed as a green or social structurer. He/she can also help support clients in their impact reporting (see our report "The Art of Social Bond Impact Reporting").
- The maintaining a market watch , in particular with investors (regular dialogue, thematic surveys);
- La contribution to public consultations (e.g. EU sustainable finance agenda, content lobbying) , participation in market initiatives (e.g. ICMA’s Green Bond Principles) and dialogue with various stakeholders (research institutes, ESG agencies, think tanks).

As a BAC +4/5 level student, you are preparing a degree (university, business school or engineering school), with a specialization in sustainable development or green finance.
You ideally have a first experience in sustainable development, ESG or SRI.
You are familiar with basic office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
You are curious and able to delve into various topics without scattering yourself.
You have a methodical approach to conducting research.
You have a developed analytical and synthetic mind (ability to quickly understand and synthesize new topics).
And last but not least, you are perfectly fluent in English.
