At Givaudan sense colour, we harness scientific excellence to create sustainable color solutions that enhance sensory experiences worldwide. We are seeking a Color Scientist who combines strong technical expertise with business agility, discipline, and a passion for delivering results.
You will be a key member of our Natural Colors team, driving applied research and innovation that meet clear business objectives. You will translate scientific discoveries into practical, market‑ready solutions while managing multiple projects efficiently and maintaining a high level of engagement and accountability.
In this Role, You Will

Strengthen the natural color innovation roadmap by proposing and evaluating new technical solutions aligned with market needs.

Provide technical leadership in natural color chemistry in collaboration with the Category Technical Leader.

Design and execute research projects focused on tangible, timely business impact.

Lead several innovation projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables achieved.

Contribute to protecting innovation through patent strategies and IP development.

Identify new methodologies or technologies that advance applied color science and operational effectiveness.

Manage collaborations with external partners when strategically relevant to business outcomes.

Assess resource needs and support technical competency development to sustain high‑performance project execution.
You Bring

PhD in chemistry, physical chemistry and related field + 4 years experience in the chemistry or food industry

Proven success in industrial or business oriented environments, not purely academic settings.

Demonstrated agility, nimble learning, and ability to manage priorities effectively.

Strong project management, organization, and disciplined execution skills.

Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, with confidence to connect science and market insight.
