UGT is seeking an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Engineer to support complex building-services projects, particularly within hospital and airport environments.
The successful candidate will carry out multidisciplinary studies from feasibility through detailed design and execution, ensuring that all technical solutions comply with the applicable performance, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver engineering studies across feasibility, concept, preliminary, detailed and execution phases
- Design and size HVAC and plumbing systems
- Develop heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and smoke-extraction solutions
- Design domestic cold water, hot water, circulation, wastewater and rainwater systems
- Integrate project-specific requirements for hospitals, including hygiene, clean areas, operating theatres and continuity of service
- Integrate airport requirements relating to continuous operation, passenger flows and energy performance
- Produce technical calculations, specifications and design documentation
- Contribute to BIM models using Revit MEP
- Coordinate with electrical, structural and architectural disciplines
- Participate in technical coordination and design review meetings
- Review contractors’ technical proposals
- Support construction meetings, testing, adjustment and commissioning activities
- Contribute to energy-efficiency and decarbonisation initiatives
Profile :
- Degree in mechanical, building-services or energy engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC and plumbing engineering; approximately 10 years preferred
- Significant experience on hospital and/or airport projects
- Strong knowledge of heating, chilled-water, air-conditioning and ventilation systems
- Experience with regulatory smoke extraction
- Knowledge of specialist air-treatment systems for clean rooms and operating theatres
- Strong plumbing design experience
- Knowledge of medical gas systems would be a significant advantage
- Experience working on complex, occupied or critical sites
- Sound understanding of BIM processes
- Previous commissioning experience
- Pléiades, Climawin, HAP or equivalent
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP preferred
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- French RT / RE2020 thermal and energy regulations
- Applicable healthcare and sanitary standards, including ASHRAE and HTM principles
- Public-building and fire-safety requirements
Rémunération : 400,00€ à 500,00€ par jour
