Yole Group is opening a Technology & Market Analyst position specialized in imaging to develop our activities and perform technology, market, business and strategic analysis.
As part of the team focusing on Sensing, Imaging & Display, you will collaborate with a team of experts and develop your knowledge of key topics. You will also collaborate with analysts across various other domains to contribute to cross-functional projects as needed.
The position is based in Lyon (69), France.
Punctual business trips are expected (3/4 times a year for conferences, tradeshows, and customer visits).
As a technology et market analyst, you will be responsible to:

Oversee technology and industry insights from manufacturing trends and components (CMOS image sensors, infrared detectors/imagers, NIR, etc.) to modules (cameras, optical image stabilization, autofocus, thermal imaging etc.) and to different end-applications (industrial, consumer, automotive, medical, defense...)

Collect and analyze data from different sources according to our internal methodologies, to get an overview of market trends, supply chain and technology developments and trends Understand the impact of the emergence of new or improved technologies in various applications

Execute business, market, technology analysis within a given timeframe and budget

Create and manage long-term relationships with customers and answer clients’ inquiries

Intervene as an expert in dedicated events worldwide (international conferences and workshops)

A Master’s or Engineering degree in a microelectronics, photonics, or related field (e.g., materials science, physics) is mandatory

A proven experience of minimum 5 years in the industry.

A relevant experience in the imaging industry (R&D, production, market intelligence, product management, business development...) would be a plus

Strong interest in business, market strategy and pricing

Good understanding and knowledge of the key players and semiconductor ecosystem

Good knowledge of data modelling

Required English level: minimum CECR – C1
