Overview
the HR Intern supports the day-to-day HR administration and activities of the site.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with personnel file administration, onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support the administration and follow-up of occupational health visits, probation periods and absences.
- Maintain HR databases, employee records and HR tracking files.
- Assist with training administration, mandatory certifications and skills matrix updates.
- Support HR communications and the update of mandatory workplace postings.
- Provide administrative support to employees and assist with their HR-related requests.
- Provide first-level support on Workday .
- Support HR projects and provide administrative assistance to Management.
- Ensure proper filing, archiving and maintenance of HR documentation.
Experience
- Previous experience in HR, administration or personnel management is a plus.
- Degree or ongoing studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Interest in HR administration and working in an industrial environment.
Good command of English is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential HR information.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Comfortable with IT tools and able to quickly learn new systems, including Workday.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
