Job Description
We are launching a strategic program to strengthen IT Asset Management (ITAM) using the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will act as the lead consultant (BPC / Business Process Consultant / Senior Technical Consultant / Solution Architect) for the ITAM component, starting with the implementation of the Software Asset Management (SAM) module, and then extending coverage to Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Key Responsibilities
Lead the IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiative: define the scope, manage the backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Implement the Software Asset Management (SAM) module: define processes for license management, compliance, cost optimization, and integration with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Deploy the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module: manage physical assets, their lifecycle, inventories, and their integration into existing systems.
Ensure ITAM governance: define standards, naming conventions, technical documentation, and architectural diagrams.
Coordinate integrations: CMDB, discovery tools, financial tools, and third-party systems.
Detailed Responsibilities
Define the target architecture for IT Asset Management (ITAM) and its data flows.
Write user stories and maintain up-to-date architecture documentation.
Implement Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes and ensure data quality.
Oversee the integration strategy with IT Operations Management (ITOM)/IT Service Management (ITSM) modules and repositories.
Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with internal and vendor standards
Required Technical Skills
Ideally, more than 10 years of experience in IT asset management (ITAM), including at least 4 years working on ServiceNow projects.
Expertise in SAM (software asset management, licensing, compliance, and optimization) and HAM (hardware asset management and asset lifecycle management).
Strong understanding of ITAM concepts: CMDB integration, Discovery, and ServiceNow workflows.
Familiarity with Now Create best practices, platform governance, and security.
Ability to write user stories, perform unit testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Minimum Required Certifications
CIS-SAM (Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM)
CIS-HAM (Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM)
CSA (Certified System Administrator)
