In this dynamic apprenticeship opportunity for the 2026–2027 academic year, you will support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the FIA’s visibility and influence notably with public institutions, diplomatic stakeholders, and international partners across France, Switzerland, and beyond.
As an Institutional & International Relations Apprentice, you will work closely with the Director of Institutional and International relations. You will contribute to strengthening the FIA’s visibility, influence, and engagement with key stakeholders, including governments, local authorities, and international organisations. You will also contribute to high-level projects, executive briefings, institutional monitoring, and stakeholder engagement activities in an international and fast-paced environment. You will be fully integrated into the team and will receive hands-on exposure to governance, diplomacy, and public affairs within the global motorsport and mobility ecosystem.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative & Strategic Support:
- Support the Director in daily administrative and coordination activities.
- Manage agendas, meeting logistics, and preparation of supporting documentation.
- Draft meeting minutes, reports, briefing notes, and strategic presentations.
- Conduct institutional monitoring and follow-up with key stakeholders.
- Identify communication or engagement opportunities for the FIA.
Executive Briefings & Institutional Affairs:
- Prepare background files and briefing materials for business trips and institutional meetings involving the FIA President or senior leadership.
- Conduct country research, stakeholder mapping, and biographical research.
- Assist in preparing speeches, talking points, and strategic messaging.
- Monitor and follow up on institutional commitments and ongoing initiatives.
FIA Strategic Projects:
- Support the implementation of FIA corporate initiatives and public affairs campaigns.
- Contribute to projects related to governance, diplomacy, and institutional visibility.
- Assist in developing stakeholder mapping and project tracking tools.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving international and institutional stakeholders.
Coordination & Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Liaise with internal departments including the President’s Office, Communications, Mobility, and Sport divisions.
- Support the preparation and coordination of cross-functional meetings.
- Contribute to maintaining effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
PROFILE:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (Year 1 or 2) in Political Science, Public Affairs, International Relations, Governance, or a related field.
- A valid apprenticeship agreement for the 2026–2027 academic year is mandatory.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both French and English are essential.
- Strong interest in institutional affairs, diplomacy, governance, and international organizations.
- Good understanding of French, European, and international institutional environments.
- Interest in the sports movement and mobility topics is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the automotive sector is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Autonomous, proactive, rigorous, and able to work in an international environment.
- Fluent French and English required (minimum C1 level).
