Job Summary
The Lounge Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the airport lounge, ensuring exceptional guest experience, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards. The role involves supervising lounge staff, maintaining service excellence, and assisting management in achieving operational and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day lounge operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and support the lounge team to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure guests receive a professional, warm, and personalized experience at all times.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance during shifts.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and service recovery in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other operational teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and airport security regulations.
- Assist with staff training and onboarding of new team members.
- Monitor lounge cleanliness, presentation, and stock levels.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management.
- Support the Lounge Manager in achieving operational and financial targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, airport lounge, hotel, or food & beverage operations.
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good communication skills in English; French language skills are an advantage.
- Knowledge of airport operations and lounge services is preferred.
