What Challenges Await You in This Role?
Reporting to the VP of Global Key Accounts and Rental Companies, you will drive the international sales growth of machinery and services by becoming a strategic partner to the largest players in the rental industry.
In this role, your missions and responsibilities will include:
- Participating in defining commercial strategies with Management and deploying them.
- Prospecting for new clients and retaining existing ones.
- Analyzing customer needs and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs / Tenders).
- Ensuring the integrity of the order book (aligning customer demands with production planning).
- Accounting for the Group’s profitability requirements right from the initial offer proposals.
- Coordinating contract reviews.
- Guaranteeing customer payments.
- Getting involved in cross-functional projects.
- Supporting key account sales representatives in subsidiaries during local negotiations.
- Organizing the presentation of new projects, products, and services during launch phases, in coordination with marketing.
- Anticipating customer needs and participating in sales forecasting processes.
- Acting as the guarantor of Manitou’s overall performance level for major accounts.
- Proposing and deploying action plans with the relevant internal stakeholders to improve performance indicators.
- Negotiating, deploying, and coordinating master agreements (“contrats cadre”).
- Involving subsidiaries (Managing Directors and Rental Sales Managers) in negotiations and contract monitoring to safeguard the country’s operating income.
- Participating in trade shows and customer events.
- Contributing to the evolution of products and ranges through Marketing meetings (such as “Experts Meetings”) and representing the voice of the customer.
- Providing sales and product training to customers.
- Conducting competitive intelligence.
What Skills Do You Need to Succeed?
Holding a Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Business or Engineering, you have significant experience in the international sales of industrial equipment or services. Familiar with the B2B landscape, you understand the dynamics and requirements of global markets.
As an expert in key account negotiation, you comfortably manage large-scale commercial agreements. Your curiosity for technical matters will enable you to quickly master our machinery range and agilely integrate our financing solutions, spare parts, and connected services. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish or Italian would be a plus.
Endowed with natural leadership and excellent interpersonal skills, you excel at uniting cross-functional teams and interacting with diverse stakeholders. Your rigor, sense of service, and resilience allow you to handle pressure with perspective, turning every challenge into an opportunity.
