Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in applied mathematics, statistics, or quantitative finance, as well as proficiency in modeling and programming tools. The ideal candidate is rigorous, possesses an analytical and critical mindset, and has a strong interest in data and AI.
Responsibilities
As a Quantitative Analyst at QUANT AI Lab, your main tasks will include:
– Development of quantitative models: Designing, testing, and optimizing models for trading strategies, risk management, or economic forecasting using quantitative and machine learning methods.
– Data analysis: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to extract actionable insights and develop robust algorithms.
– Strategy optimization: Applying models to simulate and optimize the performance of existing strategies; testing and validating results for production deployment.
– Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Working closely with data, AI, and business teams to understand client needs and tailor quantitative solutions accordingly.
– Technology watch and applied research: Keeping up with advancements in quantitative finance and AI and proposing innovative improvements to stay at the forefront of technology.
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Your profil
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a quantitative analyst, data scientist, or in a similar role within the financial or technology sector.
Technical Skills:
– Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, and SQL.
– Strong knowledge of statistics, econometrics, and predictive modeling techniques.
– Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
– Proficiency in data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Power BI, Tableau).
– Experience in developing and optimizing models in a production environment.
Soft Skills:
– Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts.
– Ability to work both independently and in a team.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
