About the Role
In a fast-paced international startup environment, we are looking for a reliable, proactive, highly organized, and business-oriented Legal Assistant to support our VP & General Counsel.
We operate in a highly regulated environment where legal and data protection are closely connected to commercial, and operational priorities. The Legal Assistant will help to ensure that day-to-day operations are reliable, well documented, and compliant.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. You will work and support on a broad range of legal and privacy matters in close collaboration with Finance, Commercial, IT and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management

Manage the contract lifecycle process, including intake, tracking, execution, archiving, and renewal monitoring.

Maintain contract templates and legal repositories.

Coordinate contract signatures using electronic signature tools.

Track contract deadlines, notice periods, and renewal dates.
Legal Operations and Intellectual property

Manage legal workflows and help prioritize requests.

Organize and maintain legal records, databases, and matter trackers.

Support implementation and administration of legal technology tools.

Follow trademarks and patents portfolio.
Compliance Support

Assist with compliance programs, policy management, and training initiatives.

Maintain compliance documentation and records.
-
Help track compliance obligations and action plans.
External Counsel and Vendor Management

Coordinate communications with external law firms and advisors.

Maintain engagement letters and vendor records.

Track ongoing matters and legal spend.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Finance, Commercial, IT and Operations teams.

Help answer routine legal process questions from internal stakeholders.
Required
-
2–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, Contract Administrator, or similar role.

Master Diploma.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
Preferred

Experience supporting an in-house legal manager.

Experience with contract lifecycle management tools and e-signature platforms.

This role is intended for a legal operations-oriented assistant who can work on recurring processes while escalating legal judgment calls to the VP and General Counsel. The role does not require the candidate to provide legal advice, but it does require sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to identify when legal input is needed.
